I recommend “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” because its a very funny story! Greg Heffly, the likeable yet troublesome middle school boy, invites you into his diary filled with all sorts of wacky moments and funny drawings. This is a great book you will love and won’t want to put down.

I loved The Invention of Hugo Cabret because it’s a great adventure about a boy who fixes clocks. The pictures were especially good.
