Welcome to the MLC library blog!

This blog has been set up for your comments on the 2009 Young Readers’ Choice Award, sometimes called YRCA. The idea is that you will come to this blog and comment on the book you have just finished reading to let everyone know what you thought! You’ll include the following things:

1. The book title

2. Your thoughts about the book

3. Would you recommend this book? Why or why not?

IMPORTANT: When you are ready to comment, come to this blog and click on your teacher’s name at the top of the page. That takes you to your class page. Once there, you will scroll down to where it says “Leave a Reply”. You’ll see that two things are required in order to comment: (1) your name (first name only), and (2) an email address. If you have your own email address, feel free to use it (it won’t be published). However, if you don’t have your own email address, feel free to use this one: mlcreaders@gmail.com You can leave blank the spot that asks you for a website. Then type your comments and hit “Submit Comment”!

A few things:

• All comments will be read and approved before being posted to the site, so it may take a day or two before your comment is posted for everyone to see.

• Please–no links to your own pages, emails, etc.

• If you have ideas about how to improve this blog, please share them with me! I am new at this and am very open to suggestions!
